I made steaks last night with sautéed garlic and tomato’s. In addition I made this super easy corn salad as a side dish. My stepmom first made this and it’s delicious.
Corn salad-combine 2 cans of corn, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, pepper, crumbled feta and 6 or so chopped jalapeno’s. Mix all together and serve chilled.

4 steaks BBQ’d to desired temp
2 TBS olive oil
6 large garlic cloves sliced
4 (1/2 pint) containers of cherry tomatoes
4 thyme sprigs
some chopped fresh basil
How to make it
- While steaks are BBQing
- Heat Olive oil in skillet. Saute Garlic about 2 mins. Add Tomatoes, Thyme, and Basil and season with salt and pepper and cook covered until Tomatoes begin to wilt about 5 min.
- Spoon over steaks.
