My kids are so wonderfully odd

13 Apr

I think the best part about being a mom is learning how to appreciate silly, random events.  My youngest Rosie is independent, goofy and absolutely fearless.  It does not surprise me in the least she opts to play with the toy gun.  Last summer she was scolding her pet sandcrabs because she didn’t like the way they were looking at her.  Anni my five year old is sensitive, astute and artistic.  A few weeks ago we had my sister and her boyfriend over for dinner; after eating they enjoyed or endured an hour and a half of Anni’s interpretive dance coined ‘robot dog.’   This picture catured the absurdity I often call parenthood.
